HOW TO MAKE AN
APPOINTMENT:
We have made changes to our phone system this year in order to
improve the wait time and better service our clients. As of
January 2008, we have instituted "Same Day Only" appointments
that will be opened on a daily basis for patients with urgent medical
problems that require attention that same day. To access
one of these appointments, call or come in to the clinic after 9 a.m. We
will attempt to have you see your regular physician whenever possible,
or another physician if yours is not available. Patients without a
family physician will be seen by one of the physicians working
that day. As with our previous walk-in clinic we can only
accommodate a limited number of patients each day. If you cannot be
given a "Same Day Only" appointment you will be directed to the
outpatient department at the Peace River Community Hospital. The
physician's prefer to see patients there before noon, or after 7
p.m. Patients with less urgent problems will be offered the next
available clinic appointment.
When calling, you will be
asked to enter a number associated with your doctor.
One of three Administrative Assistants will be happy to assist you.
